Susana and André have been my friends since high school. They thought it would make perfect sense for me to be their photographer, since I knew their story from the beginning. So this was my first time in this dual role: photographer and guest! I’m not going to lie, it wasn’t easy! But it was so nice to be able to do this for my friends, the way they felt comfortable and confident with me doing it for them. It was a wonderful day, full of joy and happiness, as it could not be otherwise. But it turned out to be the most special wedding I could have done. Getting to know the couple up close, their stories and the details between the lines, which we sometimes miss because we’re not close to them.
